We’re thrilled to announce that the 3rd edition of the CINI International Summer School on High-Performance Computing (HPC) is just around the corner! With more than 100 selected participants from across Italy and worldwide, this year’s school promises to be our most dynamic and diverse yet.
Whether you’re a student, researcher, or professional in the field, this post outlines everything you need to know to make the most of your experience from June 16 to 20, 2025, in Naples.
Bring Your Own Computer
All attendees are kindly reminded to bring their own laptops. Practical sessions will involve live coding, demonstrations, and access to remote HPC platforms. A personal device is essential for engaging fully in the program.
Poster Presentations – Share Your Research
We’re excited to offer students the opportunity to present a poster during the school.
16 physical poster slots are available, on a first come, first served basis.
If you don’t secure a physical spot, don’t worry: you can still submit your poster digitally (.pdf, .pptx, .png), and it will be featured in a screen rotation throughout the event.
Posters size must be 118 cm high × 83 cm wide. Poster file naming rule: Title_AuthorFirstName_AuthorFamilyName.pdf (eg. HPC_is_great_Federica_Izzo.pdf)
Students are responsible for printing and bringing their posters.
How to submit: send an email to info@hpcsummerschool.it and you will receive an invitation to a Google Drive folder to upload your poster.
Getting to the Venue & Moving Around Naples

All registered attendees will receive a public transport weekly pass, valid for buses, metro, and local trains throughout the Naples metropolitan area. Passes will be digitally linked to the email address you used when applying. Details on how to collect or activate the pass will be provided at check-in.
